    We have a client who has been sold a two node cluster as his management
    station. I have yet to find anyone who has used a cluster for their
    management station. However we propose to run MCC on both nodes, both
    nodes picking up Decnet events for notification when required. The only
    alarm we envisage is related to a satellite boot request which will
    only be directed to one of the nodes. Data collector events will be
    addressed to both nodes. SNMP management and polling will be performed
    by both nodes (multi user problem is not cluster problem). WE also have
    otyher polycenter products which can utilise cluster via cluster alias.
    e.g. DECscheduler, inspect. Use of the cluster covers the customer
    paranoia about availability.
    
    The only thing is I feel uncomfortable because nobody seems to be doing 
    this. Anybody know what I'm missing? or has anybody done anything like
    this?
