Hi Folks,

I have installed DECmcc v1.3 on ULTRIX. I can use it without any problem as
root. When I use it as a unprivileged user, i get some weird messages. More 
in the attached script.

Which protections are wrong ?

Some time I can not even start DECmcc as an unprivileged user.


Any ideas ?

	This indicates a problem in your /tmp directory. Things to check: 1) How much free space do you have in your root partition? This assumes that your /tmp directory is directly under /. 2) Are the permissions set correctly on the /tmp directory? 3) If the above fails, then: - Stop all MCC processes with "mcc_kill ALL" from root. - remove all MCC files from /tmp - restart MCC -- Erik

This indicates a problem in your /tmp directory.
Things to check:

1) How much free space do you have in your root partition?

	- Stop all MCC processes with "mcc_kill ALL" from root.
	- remove all MCC files from /tmp
	- restart MCC
