| Is there any way of setting this session up to be broadcast via DVN for the
field?
This information and new "strategy" is just too important to the field
resources for us not to understand all of the intricate details.
If the field cannot be completely educated on this new "strategy" before
Interop, then the announcement should be delayed until the field training
process is completed!

Or a tape... some of us will be on vacation and I agree with .-1 about
the importance of the field personnel being up on any "new" or
otherwise modified strategies.

CHANGES are coming to the POLYCENTER portfolio, Digital's systems
and network management solutions for customers. There will be a
program announcement on August 24th during Interop. This DVN is to
prepare YOU (sales, sales support, professional services and sales
management) for questions your customers will have.
NOTE: For Europe we will have audio links for 30 sites, contact
either of the site coordinators for the site listing.

Subj: Pointer to Sales Update for August 24th POLYCENTER Announcement
The Sales Update article that will be posted electronically
on August 23 is now available as note # 173 in the POLYCENTER
notes conference located at VINO::POLYCENTER.NOTE.
It is important to keep the details of this announcement quiet
until after press deadlines this week (Thursday afternoon), so
please do not use any distribution lists to discuss the details
until after the 24th. Discussions may occur in either the
NET_PARTNERS, the POLYCENTER, or the NETMGT notes files.
Once again, please be sensitive to the fact that the information
contained in the Sales Update article are Digital Confidential
until Tuesday, August 24th.
