Hiro,
For your information, and depending on your local business agreement,
there also exists a NAT probe (Network Application Technology) called
EtherMeter 250, manageable via SNMP/TCPIP AM of POLYCENTER network
manager 200 using MIBII, extented RMON MIB and NAT private MIB (both
from VMS & ULTRIX platforms).
On ULTRIX only, you use add on POLYCENTER an additional an dedicated
application called NAT/NMS, more interactive & graphical oriented.
Using both POLYCENTER & NAT/NMS, you have both INTERACTIVE but also
BATCH PROCESSING mechanisms to monitor such probes.

Thank you, Renato.
By the way, is it possible to put probe on Token Ring, or FDDI, respectively,
and get RMON MIB info from POLYCENTER Network Manager ?

Hiro,
Till now, RMON is a standart RFC-defined extented MIB related to
ETHERNET probe.
I suppose there are some TOKEN RING & FDDI probes (HP ones), but are
they remotely acccessible ? via which protocols ? using a private
modelization ? You have to look after more accurately.
