If I am running MCC on a remote node and I connect my workstation I can see the enabled alarms but I can't seem to get it to give me notifications, it won't do anything on notify requests option from iconic window. What am I missing? The remote node is running a DNA4 EVL which was started on that node and a user on that node gets notifications. P.s. This is by set host to MCC system and then set display back to my workstation.

5379.1 | Display server not MOTIF ? | HADRES::KRAUSE | European NewProductEngineer for MCC | Fri Jul 23 1993 13:08 | 7 |
Could it be that you click on a button in the notification window and nothing happens? I had that when setting display to a station running the old DECwindows server. It works ok on a station that has MOTIF 1.1 installed. Must be some kind of X11 protocol mismatch, but I didn't follow this one, I just installed MOTIF... *Robert | |||||
