5332.0. "How to launch HubWatch from an Icon?" by GIDDAY::WAN (Denny Wan, Sydney CSC) Tue Jul 13 1993 04:03
A customer has to manage a large number of DecHubs in his network using
HubWatch. We have figured out how to launch it from the Application pull down
menu and via the Script AM.
However he didn't like these options because in order to manage a large number
of hubs, he would either has a very long application menu or script command
list. He would like to be able somehow associate these operations with the
hub (SNMP) icons themselves.
Is it possible, for example, to pass the name of the selected entity to the
command procedure (activated via application menu)?
Any ideas welcomed.
Regards,
Denny.
