5325.0. "DS90L+ Partial support?" by WARABI::CHIUANDREW () Sun Jul 11 1993 21:07
HI,
After reading the 00_V103.readme regarding to the 'partial' support of
DS90L+, I still have the following questions:
1) I can register a DS90L+ as DS90L, but does TS AM V1.0.3 manage the
DS90L+ as if a DS90L or DS90L+ (or TS AM will automatically detect the
characteristic of the DS being managed)?
2) When DS90L+ is managed by TS AM, what are the missing functions
that result the 'partial' support of DS90L+? Or am I missing out
something from the release notes of TS AM V1.0.3?
3) in notes 5138.4, it alss mentioned that MS380/320 are 'partial'
support under TS AM V1.0.3, could I register a MS380/320 as MS300/100,
then the MS380/320 can be managed as if MS300/100? What's about the
SNMP stack of MS380/320, can it still be managed (e.g. IP address,
TELNET, SNMP, etc..)?
Thanks in advance for clarifications.
My customer is looking at DECmcc to manage MS380 (10+) and DS90L+
(50+), so we have to give them 'firm' answers in what can be and cannot
be done.
