Install problem with polycenter 200 FDP v1.21 Customer gets the following error: Dependancy check failed. Cannot install. Can't have any other FDP running. DECmcc directories or BMS must be installed. She verified that she has BMS installed, and there is no other FDP running. Any ideas (I'm not an mcc whiz as you can probably tell!) Thanks. Cathy

Sounds like a poor error message. You can't have ANY instances of PNM (Polycenter Network Manager) running during an install of an optional part. This includes background historian, export, alarms etc. No maps can be up and all the event sinks must be stopped. s/rob | |||||

In that case, could you please post the output of setld -i | grep -i MCR so that we can check on what is currently installed. -- Erik |
