Note 132.0 Testing our SNMP agent No replies

We are trying to work out what testing we should do for the new read-write
SNMP agent support in DECNIS V2.3. In addition to our "protocol" testing of
our agent I would like to test against some of the major network management
systems. My concern is to make sure our SNMP support really works properly
with the systems our customers are likely to be using (can any standard
graphs be produced correctly, can you turn interfaces on and off properly,
etc.).
In addition to MCC and MSU I think we should be testing against SunNet
Manager, HP OpenView and Network Managers (popular in the UK and Europe).
Does anyone think that is the wrong list? Any recommendations on priorities?
I believe OpenView and SunNet Manager are both available in PC versions --
does anyone know whether that is really the case or whether they are
any different from the workstation versions?
Does anyone have any of the systems available internally to save us having
to go out any buy them? What have other SNMP agent implementors tested
against?
Graham

| We have an HP Openview system running on top of DOS
sitting next to our DECMCC system at the customer site.
The HP is running Cabletron's SNMP Mgr and is very slick.
