    Hello all,
    
    I need a very urgent help on some unsolved problems
    concerning developing an AM on an ULTRIX configuration.
    The DECstation is on the network, and I'll be glad to give
    some more details for accessing it to someone who want to help.
    
    Here are the problems:
    1. We can not operate the "show choices" pop-up menu
       in the IM. The attribute data type was defined as
       an ENUMERATION in the MSL.
       If we type an uncorrect choice, we get an error message:
       "No corresponding entity instance exists".
    
    2. We also can not operate the "show details" pop-up menu
       in the "notify requests" window.
    
    3. We do not want to permit deleting a global entity which
       has children. When someone does the above, we return an exception.
       Here is what actually happens:
       Selecting the circle with 2 lines on it from the toolbox to delete
       such global entity with children:
       This global entity calss DEREGISTER, does not delete the global
       from the DB, returns our exception and then calls DELETE and
       erases the entity from the map and we get the error message:
       "The requested operation can not be completed: MCC unhandled
        service  reply software logic error detected."
