Last week I gave a DECmcc course for customers. We installed DECmcc V1.3 and RDB 4.2 Run-Time Option on VAXstations 4000-90 with 32 to 80 MB memory. SYSGEN parameters were checked with MCC_AUDIT. When we tried to export data, the exporter background job stopped with a alert termination request and the exporter subprocess died. No RDB database was created. The reason couldd not be evaluated because we had no status messages. We installed then RDB 4.1 and all went fine. Are there any restrictions for RDB 4.2 or did we miss something? Perhaps license or config setup ? Any help will be appreciated. Edgar

re .1 Two facts still remain: 1) Exporter FM did not work with RDB 4.2, but 4.1 was ok. 2) There were no error messages which could help to investigate the problem. Edgar | |||||

Same troubles for me....
I made a copy of a RDB base 4.1 on another Node,impossible to
use it with my RDB 4.2 ....
Could somebody tell me if DECdecision 1.5 is compatible with
RDB 4.2 .
