When I have more than one user using IMPM with the same account, if I use the MemberShip search application and find the domain that I'm looking for, If I double click on it, the new map will be displayed on each user using the same account. I think that the specific definition file pass as a argument the window Id or application ID. I need to know if this is the normal behavior or if there is something wong. In my context, I have to have more than one user using the same account... any helps ... Francois

Also sometimes , the application just runs forever when I double click on a desired entity. I have to kill the process to get rid of this problem Thank you for your help Francois | |||||

This is not the expected behavior. The Membership Search application
will attempt to post an open map request to the Iconic Map that launched it.
If this fails (e.g., user shuts down iconic map before application comes up)
the iconic map will post the request to any iconic maps running on that
system AND are attached to the same X server display.
I have a couple of questions...
1. VMS or ULTRIX?
2. Are the users logging into the system with mcc installed
and setting display back to thier own workstation?
OR
is the same user running more than one iconic map on the
same workstation?
About the hang... I have seen that happen but can't reproduce it consistently.
In any event I am changing the post request mechanism for the next release and
this will eliminate the hang.
