I've got a question reqarding events that the Collector AM captures
when we run the "mcc_evc_send" program under Ultrix. One of the fields
specified in this program is the "Event Text". How can we use a rule
to compare against that field; ie Comparison Rule?
When we use the Dictionary browser utility, we are able to search
down through the hiearchy(sp) of the Collector in the following manner:
Dictionary-->Class Collector-->Event GENERALEVENT-->Argument EVENTTEXT
Can a Comparison rule or any rule reference that "EVENTTEXT" field?
This assumes that this field is the same one sent by the "mcc_evc_send"
program...
If possible please respond to [email protected]. If not, I'll
forward on to this particular customer...
