5189.0. "TRAPs not captured by FDDI station" by ABACUS::BUKOWSKI () Fri Jun 11 1993 13:40
I am running MCC v1.3 on a 6410 with 64Meg and a DEMFA type FDDI
controller. I am sending SNMP traps to the system, but MCC is
not processing them. I know the packets are getting to the system
because my LAN anlyzer captures them. UCX is running, becuase I
can manage my SNMP entities and I can ping the entity that is sending
the TRAPs. My notifications are enable for the domain in which the
entity is registered, and the "Notify Request" is enabled. I know
that the notify request is set up properly, because my primary
MCC system which properly captures and displays the traps is set up
the same way. The only difference is that the primary MCC system
does not use a FDDI contoller. It uses a DEBNA. Any clues?
