5150.0. "incomplete data from show command" by GLDOA::DSMITH () Fri Jun 04 1993 14:51
When executing commands on historical data occasionally not all the data is
displayed. For example:
$man/ent
!
show snmp [ip entity] interface 1 total utilization, -
for start = (yesterday+0) every 00:30:00 until = today+0, -
in domain [ip entity's domain]
...
Data is displayed up until an error condition is encountered (e.g. a
counter wrap, where next counter is less then the previous one). At this
point you can request information from the point of the error and
additional data is displayed.
Is there a way to get all the data as requested in the original command,
possibly leaving gaps for error cases? This data is used in line
utilization reporting and is run nightly from a command procedure.
Thanks
Doug

| I have the same problem. When I try to look at statitics over a time
range, the command dies as soon as it hits an error even though there
is more data that could be displayed after that point.

This problem is being escalated by the customer (Navistar) as a
