How to configure snmp agent on decbridge 620. I have the
documentation to do this, but it doesn't follow. One of the
problems I am having is to update trap receiver table. I tried
under eyschar traptable, it doesnt let you input the target address
We took care of all the password problems etc... Finally an
undocumented feature, MB3 - popup menu on the traptable ... icon
lets you input the address, then you have to go to operations, and
do set again. Now my trap adresses show up no events coming into
decmcc station.
config details :
decmcc T1.3.1
decmcc 146.149.1.32 (fddi)
decmcc 146.149.245.12 (ethernet)
routed -q running on mcc
decbridge620 (1) 146.149.245.30
decbridge620 (2) 146.149.245.31
cisco 146.149.1.16
decbridge configs
ip address set thru elms
snmp trap rcvr thru mcc dec elan extended mib
mcc - ip entity - routing table
gateway 0.0.0.0 and destrout 146.149.245.32
Bridge poweredup, down many times. retains the
contents, but no events show up on notif window.
cisco pumps all the events to decmcc, link up ,
link down etc..
What is it I am missing?

The above command works only in fcl, not on iconic map.
The traps or only cold start and autentication failures
The traps worked through ln0 only sofar, not through fddi (fza0)

There was no error. It shows up the ip address of rcvr we put in, then
go back up 1 or 2 levels, comedown again, its gone. This is also
possible only with mb3 on the eauthusertraptable ... , not through
operations -> set -> etc...
I hope this helps. If you want to rundown the process over phone please
