5106.0. "C allocation error/ insufficient virtual memory" by ABACUS::BUKOWSKI () Fri May 21 1993 12:28

Hello,
        I am using MCC v1.3 on VAX 6420 with 128M.  Also running DCM and
        DNS.

        I receive a "C allocation error" when I try to look at the
        following characteristics.

    Show SNMP mko.snmp.gsmko1l101p021 ip routingtable 16.126.0.0 all chara

        Then I wasn't able to select any other routingtable child entities,
        so I backed out to the IP level and went back in.  When I double
        clicked on the routingtable, I receive a error window saying
        "software error: insufficient virtual memory"

        My system doesn't look like it is lacking any memory.

You did not include your process quotas.  It most likly is related to
either limits on your process or system parameters that were not included.

PGFLQUO is of real interest, as well as VIRTUALPAGECNT.

    Hmm.  I'll double check the suggested values in the install guide.
    Do you see anything obvious here?  BTW: I did have the Dictionary
