Hoi, I am wondering what the DECmcc timeout it when you do a call (SHOW) to a NODE4 and it doesn't respond. How long is this timeout? I want to know also these timeout for Terminal Servers (TSAM). I know for SNMP you can set this. Thanks in advance. /-/ Henk.

Henk, Couldn't respond earlier because we just finished moving to Taylor Street. DECmcc does not apply its own timeout control on the connection. It relies on DECnet default timers and timeout scheme. Is there special need for your module to build another timeout scheme on top of DECnet's timeout control? Regards, Jean |
