| | Thanks to Sally Martin we were able to reproduce a similar
problem using the rubberband drag option.
If you <shift> select E1 then rubberband select E1, E2, and
E3, you will see E1 become unselected. Now if you <shift> select
E1 again and then try to <MB2> drag the entities to a new location the
impm goes into an infinite loop.
Were you using <shift> select?

| 5051.4 | thats basicly the sequence I used... | HERON::PATEL_A | LoLo-AQIC-I82Q-B4IP, - LMF | Fri May 28 1993 04:10 | 10 |
| | This sounds too similar to be true.
    The only difference is that I had a object selected using MB1 (I'e
    looking into it), then I wanted to move all the objects across the
    screen, so used shift and rubber band select to get all objects. The
    original object gets deselected, so I used shift select (so as not to
    lose the selection of the other objects, then performed the move ---
    then it hangs

| 5051.6 | Also hangs when manipulating multiple alarm rules | ISIDRO::LUISGON |  | Mon Jun 14 1993 08:48 | 7 |
|  |
I have experienced a similar behaviour when selecting/deselecting/operating
with several alarm rules from the IMPM with the map unlocked. Since it is a
customer production environment and they are not very happy seeing MCC hang
I'll try to reproduce it after hours.
