Hi,
I am working with a customer who is having problems with the iconic map
after changing his MCC workstation from monochrome to color. He is
running DECmcc-BMS V1.3 and VMS V5.5. The error that he now gets is as
follows:
XTOOLKIT warning: URM__RealizeColorTable: Could not convert RGB
color/pixel"32767,32767,32767" MRM Not Found.
He also gets a POLYCENTER message box with the following in it:
SOFTWARE ERROR: Unable to fetch widget !AD from
MCC_UIL:MCC_ICONIC_MAP_PM.UID
He also serves an iconic map window to another workstation and that
works without error. The served workstation is and always has been
color. The customer is starting DECmcc from a DECterm window by
issuing the manage/enterprise/interface=decwindows command.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The message "Unable to fetch widget from MCC_UIL:MCC_ICONIC_MAP_PM.UID generally means the uid file pointed to by MCC_UIL does not match the installed kit. Is there an old file hanging around? Check where MCC_UIL points also. Verna | |||||

Hi,
Sorry I took so long to reply... The MCC_UIL stuff checked out o.k. We
ended up LOR'ing the customer (how was in Canada) so we've never heard
what the fix was.
