Where is the DNS$LIB read-only replica patch which fixes the problem
with copying attributes which affects DECmcc?
I have spent about an hour looking for it, but can't find it
anywhere.
thanks,
Mike

I am not sure if this is the patch you are looking for or not but
here is some info I was recently given:
".....All the DECdns V1.1 servers that will carry any MCC managed
object (I.E., all servers carrying master or read-only replicas) MUST
have installed the DNS v1.a Patch for DECmcc. The patch is applied via
a command procedure which can be foiund at:
usmv01::usmv01$public:dnsv11_mcc_patch.com
Just copy it to the DNS Server and @.
To see if the patch has already been applied:
$ patch
file> sys$library:dns$lib.exe
patch> check eco 1
If the prompt comes back with no error then the ECO (this patch) has
been applied already. Or you can type out SYS$LIBRARY:dns$lib.JNL and
review the journal. If you have questions call John Regan 264-4744...."
Since the handout I was given is not marked "Internal Use Only"
or "Confidential", I assume that it is OK to give out the information.
Hope this helps!!
Bob
