Hi,
System: VAXstation 3100 M76 32 Mb Memory, VMS 5.4-2.
This customer was upgraded from DECmcc 1.1 to 1.2.3 a few months
ago and I'm trying to run the MCC_ALARMS_EXTRACT_RULES.EXE utility and
I'm getting this error.
NAT'L_TELE_DIR$ run MCC_ALARMS_EXTRACT_RULES.EXE;4
MCC_ALARMS_EXTRACT_RULES - V1.2.0
- Generating a Procedure to Rebuild the DECmcc Alarms MIR
- Output File: mcc_alarms_rules.com
0 Rules processed.
>>> EXIT - Alarms MIR is empty; No Rules extracted
There are about 20 rules that are created and enabled and so there
are rules.
I tried re-Enrolling the ALARMS_FM but this didn't help either.
Any Ideas???
Thanks in Advance,
Rob

| 4999.2 | You need R/W privilage to Alarms MIR files | TRM::KWAK | Thu May 20 1993 17:10 | 9 | |
RE: .0
In order to run the Alarms rule extraction program, you need
to have Read/Write privilege to the Alarms MIR files
(MCC_COMMON:MCC_ALARMS_ATTRIBUTE_MIR.DAT and
MCC_ALARMS_INSTANCE_MIR.DAT).
