DecMCC v1.2.3 VMS 5.4-3 Motif v1
I have a strange problem with the Forms Command Line when started from the
Iconic Map. On this customers system he clicks on the application menu pull
down from the iconic map to start the forms command line. He then gets a
decterm window appear with the MCC 1.2.3 version message. This window hangs and
another window appears. This window has a fileview icon, title of FileView:
DECmcc BMS/IMPM and within that window the MCC> prompt appears and commands can
be entered. The window is similar to the one you get if selecting a dcl
command option on a fileview window.
The question is why do we get two windows for the FCL?
I've tried it here but cannot reproduce the problem. I checked the file
sys$library:mcc_resource.dat on their system. It has not been edited.
It contains the line..
mcc_pml.applications.DECmcc Command Line (FCL).vms_command:
CREATE/TERM/WAIT/WINDOW_ATTRIBUTES=(TITLE =\"DECmcc Command Line\",
ICON_NAME=\"DECmcc FCL\") MANA/ENTER
I've tried typing the CREATE/TERM command in manually but that works normally
aswell. Can anyone suggest any reasons why this could be happening please?
