  Q1:

  A customer has installed DECMcc and seems to be successful. However, he 
  notices that there are reports of duplicate identifiers when the DECMCC 
  (EMS) set of software is started up during system reboot. Also,during 
  system reboot, some of the MCC modules apparently complain that BMS is 
  not started, although BMS (MCC_STARTUP_BMS.COM) is the first being started. 
  Puzzling .. any ideas why ?
  
  (For your infor, during his first attempted installation of EMS, DECWindow 
  crashed and he had to reboot the system. However, during the reboot, the 
  system correctly detected that EMS has crashed during the installation and 
  it proceed to clean up his system. He reinstalled, and it worked fine!)
  
  Q2:
  
  Is is alright for the customer to delete MCC_COMMON:MCC_DNS_ATT.DAT and 
  MCC_COMMON:MCC_DNS_ENT.DAT files. Are there any other file which are linked 
  to these two?

  Also it was noticed that the system create new above files in 
  sys$specific:[mcc]. Why is this so? Why the files are not created in 
  mcc_common?
