    Does anyone know what happened to the problem mentioned in note 
    3895 ("corrupt data in mcc_alarms_xxx.dat"), also QAR:ed in MCC012_EXT 
    (# 500)? The QAR has no answer.
    
    I have a customer who is using a script to parse the data in the 
    temporary alarms data file and take certain actions based on the
    outcome. For the time being we are using a workaround but quite soon
    we will need a permanent solution to this problem.
