Dear notes readers, I am unclear as the supportability of DECMCC V1.1 and Ultrix V4.3 with MOTIF. I have a customer who has configured his system this way, and his MCC windows startup, but not without numerous Xtoolkit errors. Even when starting up a regular decterm window, he gets "DRM 1.0 does not support MRM version URM v1.1" He said he had to move dxterm.sav to dxterm just to get a dxterm window to work. I have used a similar configuration with DECterm windows instead of MOTIF and have not seen any problems. It there some type of compatability issue that I am missing? Thanks in advance.. John G. Do you mean your customer has V1.1 installed on a VMS systemm with the display set to the ULTRIX/MOTIF system? /doug
4808.2 | I'm running 1.2, I wonder what he is runing? | CSC32::J_WIELAND | Fri Apr 02 1993 18:44 | 10
doug, I am running version 1.2 on my ultrix V4.3 system. Customer customer is definately running ultrix because I waited on the line while he did a doconfig after changing some of the pre-requisit qualifiers. I will get back with him and verify what version of MCC he really has..... thanks. john |
