4806.0. "What is the cost to customers for MCC_GRAPH?" by CUJO::HILL (Dan Hill-Net.Mgt.-Customer Resident) Fri Apr 02 1993 03:47

I assume we are not giving this away, although we should, since MCC
should have a map printing capability.

Can anyone tell me the cost of MCC_GRAPH and how to order it for
    customers?

    Thanks,
    Dan

4806.1Treat it like any other midnight hack.CLARID::HOFSTEEE(nterprise)=MCMon Apr 05 1993 05:3226
Dan,

I've had this question several times in the past, so let me resume a little
bit the status.

As with other midnight hacks in the past, I've tried to get this into the
ASSETS library, but it didn't make it. I made the last version available
almost one year ago and haven't looked at it since than. In july, I handed
the code over to engineering (Ulla Figwer), who would take a look at it, to
see if it could be included in V1.3. Apparently, it didn't make it.

Therefore, at this very moment, it should be treated as any other tool that
you can find on the net. It is not supported , and I haven't checked if it
still works with V1.3.

I don't know what the normal procedures are , for midnight hacks that you can
find on the net, and to use these on customer sites. I'ld say: If you can make
some money out of it, fine. If it can help to increase customer satisfaction
or improve service levels, fine. But remember, this is an unsupported hack.

If you want to know what engineering has planned, please contact them directly.

Hope this helps

Timo
