	... I know we can't manage it, but does anyone know if or how an SNA 
Gateway-ST device can be *monitored* with POLYCENTER 200 for OpenVMS? If so, 
which functions/states can be watched?

You can get at the box, just not the gateway sections of it.
It will respond to regular NICE requests just like any other node
for the DECnet side of the box (ONLY).  What is missing are access to the
"application" and the SNA stack.

    that get sna events from snaevl process with a mailbox.
