Vitalink MIB Question Hi. Quick question. Pardon me if this has been discussed... if so please provide a pointer to the note... I've been looking at the SNMP AM Use doc and the TRANSLATOR Utility for adding MIB extensions look straight forward... too straight forward! The copy I have is BMS V1.1; does this procedure still apply? I've just installed EMS V2.2 for a customer and want to manage Vitalink Bridges that *hopefully* are running SNMP... Haven't tried to configure them yet... Thanks for any pointers, here or please feel free to send mail, Mic IOOSRV::GALVIN. I'll be here for 2 weeks, we're doing a DECmcc Demo... /Mic

There is no MTU on V1.1 of DECmcc... If you have DECmcc V1.2 or 1.3 MTU is every bit as straightforward as it appears. Why are you running V1.1? That's 2 releases behind -- there've been MAJOR performance increases and bug fixes between 1.1 and 1.3. /doug | |||||
