My customer would like to customize the IMPM look : he wants to remove all the applications from the "Applications" option in the main window. The question is : How can I remove the "DECmcc Notification services" application as it is NOT defined in the mcc_ressource.dat file ? Where is it coming from? (DECmcc Ultrix V1.2) Regards, Serge

There actually is a way, but it is far from obvious. That specific entry is dynamically added based on the contents of the dictionary. (i.e. there is a check made to see if the "right stuff" is there) One would have to mung the dictionary to prevent its being displayed. I dont have the time right now to go digging and find the magic needed, maybe some one from the IMPM group knows what the "offending" attributes in the dictionary are? |
