Hi, 

It seems that there's a limitation in the IMPM alarm-rule creations 
forms regarding the maximum length of the fields.  I can't write
more than 64 characters in the 'Rule Expression' field.

Is the resource XmNcolumns generally set to 64 for XmText widgets?  

Consider the following expression:

'node4 foobar remote node barfoo state = unreachable, at every 00:15:00'

this expression is 70 characters long, but when entering it I get
beeps after the 64:th character.

P.S.
Yes, I know, this is not a big problem since there's always the 
possibility to create the rules with FCL, but I think it should be
corrected anyway....

	more on this topic... Trying to extend the expression with a SET CHARACTERISTICS on an alarm rule using the IMPM together with the "Show Current Value" -feature doesn't work. When getting the current value the text-field maximum length is set to the actual length of the text and therefore unable to extend the expression. /Nils

	Nils, You can expand the size of that field by pressing MB3 over the text widget. At that point, you get a larger text to enter much more information. Verna
