Bummer, This should be a feature not a feat. Of course, this is fixed in V1.3. Right??? Does anyone in Polycenter Engineering what to field a response? This is based upon notes 4694.0-.1. SEE BELOW: Just Wondering, Bob **********************4694.0****************************************************** HELLO, I am trying to have several initialization steps done when invoking MCC V1.2.3 IMPM. The file -> "MCC_COMMON:MCC.INI" with appropriate commands, executes if I invoke FCPM but not IMPM. Does anyone have an explanation or if possible can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? OBTW: Yes the logical "MCC_INIT" exists. Regards, Bob *********************4694.1******************************************************* Bob, The MCC_INIT stuff is ONLY for the FCL. There is not init file for the IMPM (other than the mcc_resource.dat) /doug *********************************************************************************

Bob, It's rather irritating when someone posts a NEW note to gripe about the SAME thing they complained about only 5 notes back and less than 24 hours ago -- ESPECIALLY when they repost the original gripe it in its entirety. The engineers _do_ read this conference. They are not stupid and I doubt that they are simply ignoring you. I'm certain that if you would be more specific about what you are trying to do at IMPM startup, someone (not just devos, we have some assiduous users out there) may be able to assist you more. *IF* it turns out that your needs cannot be met with existing capabilities, then your have effectively described a request for a new feature. Do not go to Jail, collect $200 and proceed drectly to the EMF Requirements Conference (NOTED::EMF_REQ) if you want this feature request to get in front of product management and on the list for the next release... /doug |
