I was wondering if any work had been done on an ISO GDMO compiler for DECmcc....... SPyder Software want to send me some GDMO descriptions for their managed objects and I need to get them into MCC.....then I need to communicate with them via the CMIP access module....but that is another story.... Regards, Mike Aikins

...as part of the OSI AM project in TBGE. No code is available yet, though. The idea is to take management specifications written using GDMO/ASN.1 and convert them into a form that can be used in a DECmcc/TeMIP environment. Basically that means turning out a "dictionary" file for the OSI AM, and MSL file(s) for use by the rest of DECmcc/TeMIP. In addition, the TeMIP notes file has some info (TAEC::TEMIP), the V1.1 func spec in TAEC::TEMIP$PUBLIC:[DOC] has some info, and Benoit Postaire is the PM for this product. Carl |
