Please let me know about Module Distribution.
DECmcc Genaral Description (EK-DEMAR-GD) shows DECmcc Module
Distibution in chapter 6.4.
That shows one MCC can interact with other distributed directiors.
Kernel to Kernel communication (Information manager to Information
manager) is able to impliment it.
My questions are
1. Can DECmcc V1.2 or V1.3 run Kernel to Kernel comunication now ?
2. If Kernel to Kernel communication is available now, what is the
mechanism?
How should I write Dispach Table? Should I write the destination
node address and destination management module ?
3. If one node provides one specific function module, is it sufficient
for us to enroll only this function module on this node ?
My customer has asked me one management module can interact with other
management modules on other nodes.
Can I answer DECmcc is able to configure distributed environment?
Please let me know.

I believe that the document you mention is the "EMA General Description". EMA is the architecture which is the basis for DECmcc. However, not all features of the architecture are implemented. In particular, distribution has not yet been implemented by DECmcc. It is in the plans for the future, but is not available in the current releases. -- Erik | |||||
