4672.0. "SNMP AND MCC-S-SPECIALIZED_EXC" by WIZZER::MACLEAN (A Pure Dear In a Wicked World) Thu Mar 11 1993 11:04
Hi, My customer has a problem with MCC v1.2-3 and SNMP Access Module Alarming:
He has set up around 10-12 alarm rules for SNMP which should also notify him
via mail...Currently he receives only 2 mail messages which are detailed below.
(Vms is 5.5 and they have 32 Megs Mem on a vaxstation 4000)
I would be grateful if someone could shed some light on the 'software
logic error detected' and mcc-s-specialized_exc errors.....
Thanks in advance,
Sandie../

4672.1 | This seems familiar | MOLAR::ROBERTS | Keith Roberts - Network Management Applications | Tue Mar 16 1993 12:11 | 8 |
| Sandie,
This error seems familiar to me. I fixed a problem in the Performance
Analyzer (PA) for when it had a problem calculating statistics. The
error caused Alarms to display this 'software logic error'. The fix
has been made to v1.3 -- can you upgrade to v1.3 and try this again ?
Thanks /keith
