I am using DECMCC V1.3 on VMS V5.5-2.I try to start the exporter
without success.In the exporter logfile I can find following message:

$ BTS == "$SYS$SYSTEM:MCC_EXPORTER_FM_BG.EXE"
$ BTS "dka200:[mcc]mcc_export.rdb" ""
%MCC-E-NOREPOSEXIST, repository does not exist
******************************************************
The queue definition is the following :
$ sho queue/full/all mcc_exporter
Batch queue MCC_EXPORTER, idle, on BHT490::
/BASE_PRIORITY=4 /JOB_LIMIT=4 /OWNER=[MCC]
/PROTECTION=(S:E,O:D,G:RW,W)
The batch I submit in this queue is:
$submit/queue=mcc_exporter/restart/parameters=("dka200:[mcc]mcc_export.rdb")
sys$manager:mcc_exporter_background.com
RDB is running.
I need the exporter for a demo ,somebody an idea how to solve this
problem ?

As far as I remember this problem has been already discussed in some place
in this conference.
It could be several reasons way the Exporter Background process can not
find repository:
1. The MCC_COMMON logical is defined in such a way that the
Exporter Background process does not see it or sees differently
from how MCC process (where Exporter FM has been enrolled) sees
this logical.
2. The Exporter master repository has not been created.
You can check MCC_COMMON directory for the following files:
- MCC_00.MCC_EXP_ATTR012_PMS
- MCC_00.MCC_EXP_INST012_PMS
To create these files simply enroll Exporter FM.
3. The Background process does not have the following privileges:
- read/write privileges to the MCC_COMMON directory;
- read privileges to the following files:
- MCC_COMMON:MCC_MIR_DIRECTORY.DAT
- MCC_COMMON:MCC_MIR_ATTRIBUTE.DAT
