Hi

Could someone please explain this error to me.

When I'm using the the Spanning Tree Map Listener, I'll receive
the following error in the Listener Error File.

03-03-1993 8:48:57 AM SYS$QIOW return status for starting port: 1
                   SYS$QIOW iosb condition for starting port: 2112
03-03-1993 8:48:57 AM Fatal Error - Abnormal Termination of Listener

I'm running EMS version 2.2 (Version 1.2 of the director)

    Hi Gert,
    
    I can think of a couple of things to look at.
    
    1) Are there any other processes running on the system that are using the 
    MOP protocol such as TSM or the old ELMS listener?  If so they must be
    stopped prior to using the STM listener.
    
    2) What kind of system is this and what is the name of the port
    that you are trying to listen from?
    
    3) Has any other process allocated the the ethernet port that you
    are trying to listen on?
