Hi, After upgraded from (VMS v5.5-1 + MCCEMS V2.2 + DNS V1.1) to VMS V5.5-1 MCCEMS V2.2 + MCCEMS022_ECO1.A DECnet/OSI(wave 2) with DNS server V2.0 + DNVOSIECO01010.A I can use toolbox to register phaseIV nodes successfully, but phaseIV autoconfig failed. Tracing the MCC_WAN4_AUTOCONFIG.COM, I found that DNS2.0 does not reconize "DNS>show NS:.domain." style command. I had reinstall MCCEMS V2.2 once but the problem still exist. Is autoconfig(IP and p4) supported under DNS2.0? Thanks for any reply! Norbert

The "DNS>show NS:.domain." command fails because DNS V2.0 doesn't allow a "." after the directory, but the MCC_AUTOCONFIG_PREFIX.DAT file requires the dot "." after the directory name. This problem has been QARed against Autoconfig, and hopefully we will fix it in some future release. Regards, JoAnn | |||||
