I have some questions:

1. We have the following heirachy:
   exchange-linkset-link.
   Let's say that I create linkset1, get into it, and create 2 links.
   Then I pop-up, create linkset2, get into linkset2.
   Now I want to create link under linkset2; when I get the form
   to fill in the name of the exchange is correct but the name
   of the linkset is linkset1 and not linkset2; why is that so?
   If I reopen the toolbox at that point I get the correct name
   of the father linkset.

2. After I use mcc_mir_del_instance & deletion of the attributes of
   the child entities, they disappear; when I look in the mir I see
   that their names are still there; should it be so? If yes: wouldn' t
   it blows up sometime?

3. I removed the MIR files from $MCC_MIR_LOCATIONS: *.dir & *.mir
   and yet when it created it again, I saw previous information
   which I hadn't been able to remove. Are there other files which
   I need to remove also?

4. In order to delete an entity I have to delete all its child
    entities before it. What DIRECTIVE do I use in order to delete
    the child entities? DELETE or DEREGISTER? and how is it done
    exactly?

Re 1.

The reason you see linkset1 is that you have not rebuilt the toolbox since
you brought it up for linkset1.  The field is editable so you can change
the text.  There is only one toolbox for the entire application, and it
reflects information appropriate for when it was last invoked (for linkset1)
so the entity level is correct but it refers to a different parent.

You can either change the text or select the toolbox for the Edit Menu or MB3
after you have looked into linkset2.
