I have VMS station that has HUBWATCH t.1.1.8, UCX and DECmcc T1.3.1
running.
HUBwatch can look at a agent on the LAN and UCX can loop it w/o
any problem.
I have a w/s with the DH90_mib MTUed.
It can register the agent properly.
Another w/s with the same config but DH90_mib NOT MTUed yet and
registering from SNMP AM it says partial registration.
Must the DH90_mib be MTUed first before registering DECagents with the
SNMP AM?

If Ping works to the DECagent from a particular MCC system, you should be able to REGISTER (full, not partial) the entity from that system regardless of whether a vendor-specific mib (like DH90_mib) )is loaded... Identical REGISTER SNMP commands were issued from both systems AND both systems could Ping the DECagent in question? Chris | |||||
