4535.0. "LMF failed with BMS T1.3.1 installing?" by TPACT1::MOBBYLIN (Mobby Lin @TPO, networker) Thu Feb 11 1993 21:17

    Hi,

I just installed the BMS T1.3.1 in VAX6320 system from ppinc node.
When installing, the system prompted three error messages as below.

             MCC-E-LMF-Failed
             MCC-E-LMF-Failed
             MCC-E-LMF-Failed

It seems to look the pak is failed. But this system had been running
well on the MCC BMS V1.2 system. I checked the license carefully.

When I do the IVP, getting the following messasges

%MCC-E-NOTFOUND, unsupported combination of verb, entity, partition
%MCC-E-NOTFOUND, unsupported combination of verb, entity, partition

    The following command failed.

          "MANAGE/ENTERPRISE TEST MCC 0 HISTORIAN_FM, TO FILE =
            MCCBMS$OUT.TXT"

       DECmcc BMS T1.3.1 Installation Failed

    %MCC-F-FAILED, fatal DECmcc error

       *********************************************************

Fatal DECmcc BMS T1.3.1 event occurred during installation

       *********************************************************

When I start the BMS, the BMS shows me the Historian didn't enroll.
Then I enroll from MCC> enroll historian and MCC> enroll alarm.
It appears me the license checked fail.

THe question is I need the polycenter PAK to install or use the BMS
    pak?

Hope someone can help me this issue.

    Mobby.
