I would know like the same thing for bridges, references, circuits and
any other entities that are not the Phase IV or SNMP entities. And for
them, if they are not in the local databases.
If it is not possible under V1.3, then this functionality should be
included in future releases. From my point of view, this is customer
request also.

4501.2 | It's not in the plans! | LICAUS::LICAUSE | Al Licause (264-4780) | Thu Feb 04 1993 20:57 | 12 |
| After discussing this at some length with Jim Lemmon of the MCC group
it was determined that this facility is not currently provided with
the product....nor will it appear any time soon.
It has apparently been on the wish list for quite some time now, but
always seems to get shoved aside in favor of other items.....too much
to do and too few engineers to do it!
Please keep your cards and letters coming on this item if you think its
a biggie and forward same to the product managers.

4501.3 | I have a 'pile' of names in one spot... | CSOADM::ROTH | MC5: Kick out the jams! | Mon Feb 08 1993 09:11 | 5 |
| A possible workaround is to 'drag' the offensive name to a part of the map
that you do not usually view. Then, using the text option, put whatever name
you want next to the entity/child entity/whatever.

We've got one of these too. Affectionately called the 'black sea' :-). Names
go in but they don't come out. Not something I'd show a customer and it does
need a fix. How about under MB3 <change icon label>??
cheers,
