OpenVMS A5.5-2 and DECmcc V1.2 EMS A customer has installed EMS V1.2 and MCC crashes several times each day with the following: X Toolkit Warning: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) X Toolkit Warning: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) %CMA-F-EXCCOP, exception raised; VMS condition code follows -SYSTEM-F-FLTDIV, arithmetic trap, floating/decimal divide by zero at PC=0022D2F 2, PSL=03C00000 %TRACE-F-NOMSG, Message number 0009804C module name routine name line rel PC abs PC 0004B2C4 0004B2C4 0007C182 0007C182 00076FDC 00076FDC 0007A678 0007A678 I've looked at Entry # 3938,3456,3584 and I'm getting VERY CONFUSED ! I tried to find the QAR #3313 and logged in to MUSEUM::, but with no luck at all! (No such entry!) Could anyone tell what's happening with this problem ? Should I escalate, or is someone working with this QAR/problem ? What about the suggestion setting the system up to be a Routing node(#3584.4), does this really "cure" the problem ? \ge

The problems in the notes you reference are all related to the auto-configuration utility. Is that where you are seeing your problem? If so, then unfortunately there is no short term fix. QAR 3313 (in a database internal to development) has been deferred. Contact Anne (TOOK::) Pelagatti, who is the manager responsible for that portion of DECmcc, for more information. If you are seeing this error from another part of the system, please enter more information, as you may have a different problem. And yes, if you have a customer problem with released code, please file an SPR so that it gets appropriate attention. -- Erik |
