If you have a TCP/IP only WAN and are running OSI applications
across this WAN using RFC 1006 (OSI apps on TCP/IP). Can you manage
these OSI applications using CMIP across this TCP/IP WAN?
An example:
Version 1.1 of mailbus 400 will support RFC 1006, which means that
mailbus 400 MTAs can communicate with each other across a TCP/IP WAN.
Normally in an OSI network, mailbus 400 is managed using ncl and CMIP.
Can this still be done remotely, using RFC 1006, across a TCP/IP WAN??

There is no "AM" support for this, but we will have to do it someday, as that is what DME requires for all CMIP access. | |||||
