We are using DECmcc V1.2.3: Registering a NODE4 entity, I noticed that there is a ACL argument that might be specified. What is the syntax (I tried different attempts whithout success) and what is the use of this argument ? Maurice.

The ACL argument for both DNA4 and DNA5 is not used and not supported. I don't know enough of the history why it's there. Probably long ago someone thought there was a use for it. | |||||

It probably came from the REGISTER command that's defined in NETMAN. There, the ACL argument was the ACL set on the DECdns entry for the node. |
