Hi,
Since DEC did not bundle any INGRES products in ULTRIX, do we have to
purchase any software if we want to sell DECmcc to customers?
If yes, which products we shall include? and they are run-time only or
delelopment verions are needed?
Appreciate in advance for any inputs!

There is a note here somewhere (from Gail Ferreira, I think) describing how to deal with the unbundling of INGRES. I'll try to dig it out. FYI, ULTRIX/SQL (INGRES) is only required if you use the export function. If that is all that you do, then you don't need a development kit. If you also want reporting, then you need the Ingres Tools (which were never bundled). -- Erik | |||||
