| The best information handy at the moment is in notes 1218 and 2626.
Unfortunately, those may be out of date (and may not be "official"
enough, depending on your purpose. Have you looked at the SPD?
I don't have one handy at the moment to see if there is information there.

4383.2 | Have you looked at TeMIP ? | TAEC::FLAUW | | Thu Jan 14 1993 02:44 | 12 |

If you are also using TeMIP, we are following ISO standards 10164 and
10165 for the implementation of our modules : Alarm Handling FM and Event Log
FM.
If you want more info, you can have a look in the TEMIP notefile
(TAEC::TEMIP) or read the TeMIP V1.0 Introduction Manual
(TAEC::TEMIP$PUBLIC:[V10_DOC]TEMIP_V10_INTRO.PS).
Best regards,
Marc.

4383.3 | check product literature as well | GOSTE::CALLANDER | | Thu Jan 14 1993 11:01 | 6 |
| the 1992 glossy on mcc also includes a lot of this information
right in the product literature. Under the AM descriptions
it says things like what protocols, which RFC, and what
standards are supported. It doesn't list them all, but it
is an "official" sheet you can share.

4383.4 | Specific Required Standards | MAIL::CLAYTON | Merlin Clayton DTN 445-7217 | Mon Jan 18 1993 12:01 | 65 |
| re: .1
Yes. I looked at all of the MCC related SPDs, and they lists several of the
RFCs which MCC complies to, but do not provide information on other standards
compliance such as ISO, CCITT, NIST, etc.
Here is a summarized list of standards compliance that they are asking us to
provide "official" documentation for:
ISO Object Management Function 10164-1
ISO State Management Function 10164-2
ISO Attributes for Relationship 10164-3
ISO Alarm Report Function 10164-4
ISO Event Report Mgmnt Function 10164-5
ISO Log Control Function 10164-6
ISO Security Control Function 10164-7
ISO Security Audit Trail 10164-8
ISO CMIS 9595
ISO CMIP 9596
ISO Structure of Mgmnt Info 10165
ISO Definition of Mgmnt Info 10165-2
Other standards that they are specifying that relate to the various network
layers are:
Session Layer:
ISO 8326 & 8327
CCITT X.215 & X.225
NIST Stable Implementation Agreements for OSI V5 , Part 5
Version 1 & 2 of Session layer protocol
Transport Layer:
ISO 8072 & 8073
CCITT X.214 & X.215
NIST SIA for OSI Ver 5, Part 4
Network Layer:
CCITT X.25 - 1988
ISO 8473 CLNP - IETF IP
ISO 9542 ES-IS
WAN Interface:
1988 CCITT X.25
X.121 14 digit address
X.121 Subnet addressing
LAN Interface:
Enet V2
802.3 Enet
802.4
802.5 TR
FDDI
Broadband
Now, I'm not sure how all of the network layer standards relate to management,
but I've been assigned the task to find out by the proposal team leader.
Can someone please point me in the right direction.
Thank you.
Merlin
