    Hello I am new to DecMcc what I would like to know is if there is

This function as an integrated part of MCC has been traded off for V1.3.

It has been requested by many and will be reconsidered again.

Certainly, you can use printscreen if you can see the entire map.

I guess there is an unsupported tool called "mccgraph" which allows you to
translate a map file in a .PS format so as to print it later.

If your question is "is it possible to ...", the answer is "yes, but currently
unsuported", whereas if it's "where can I get this tool" the answer becomes
"we can try to find it again or somebody else can provide you with a more
official version".

regards, Christophe.

4340.3Copies do existRACER::daveAhh, but fortunately, I have the key to escape reality.Thu Jan 07 1993 10:273
Its not lost, just out of date.....

Those who squirl away copies of tools have a copy.
4340.4why we have the MCC-TOOLS conference!TOOK::MCPHERSONpre-retinal integrationThu Jan 07 1993 11:357
And all of this just points out why *everyone* should treat the MCC-TOOLS
conference a little more seriously. (By that, I mean putting in a note with a
tool abstract and pointer to the tool...)

MCC_GRAPH is still on-line.

See for more info 1287.*

I have send the sources loonngg time ago to engineering and haven't
looked at it since than anymore. It works with V1.1 and V1.2 .
I haven't tested it with V1.3. If the mcc map file format hasn't
changed , than it still should work. However, since I had the
impression that it would be included in V1.3 I am not doing any
development anymore.
I'll stick a note in the mcc-tools conference, and maybe the moderator
can create an mcc_graph keyword , and attach it to note 1287.

Hope this helps.

4340.6Doesn't work with T1.3 anymoreFRAIS::ORCHIS::MAASSInformation, that's all I need...Wed Jan 20 1993 14:1418
Hi bandits :-),

I created a map with the last version of MCC_MAP that I could get (to be true: I
only got one version :-), it worked fine with DECmcc V1.2, but you get an error
message with T1.3, and the backdrop won't show up. I haven't tracked this down
yet, but if someone is eager to try it, he or she can get a copy from

FRAIS::ORCHIS::DISK$USER3:[EMA.TOOLS]DRAW_MAP.BCK

Btw, has somebody entered DRAW_MAP into the MCC_TOOLS conference? I haven't
checked this (could have been me, though :-).

Kind regards

4340.8New format of Map Files in V1.3TOOK::BMURRAYThu Jan 21 1993 15:169
    Josch,

    The format of the map files has changed in V1.3. The IMPM will read in
    V1.2 formated map files but any other tools such as MCC_MAP will have to be
    modified to read in the new format of V1.3 map files.
