4333.0. "Alternate disk not working correctly for install" by CSC32::ORTIZ () Mon Jan 04 1993 17:03

    I have a person onsite installing BMS 1.2. He doesn't have enough room
    to put MCC_COMMON on the system disk, so he stated during the
    installation an alternate disk. It stated that he didn't have enough
    room on the alternate disk and yet he has 150,000 blocks free.
    
    I had him install with the AWD option and this time the alternate disk
    worked fine. Is this a known problem and if so, will it be fixed soon?
    
    Any info would be appreciated....

The MCC_COMMON question states where to place the MCC_COMMON files, but
VMSINSTAL ALWAYS restores all required savesets on the system disk
UNLESS you specify the AWD option.
