Regarding the Phase IV Line Traffic Report:
Data is gathered from a DECrouter 2000 DDCMP Full Duplex Point to Point
line: In the reports the Totals do not add up to the sum of the In and Out for
either Total KBytes(Octets) or KData_Blocks(SDUs). This also makes me wonder
about the averages displayed. For example...
Total KBytes KData_Blocks Average Average
(Octets) (SDUs) Bytes/Data_Block Bytes/Sec
------------ ------------ ---------------- ---------
In: 3,593 In: 161 85 717
Out: 14,738 Out: 163
Total: 14,738 Total: 173
What are these totals of? Are these averages for all In and Out data?
Has anyone else experienced these types of results?

I got the same type of results on my customer site.
Who has an explanation why TOTAL is not equal to IN + OUT ?
